Get in Touch

Lake County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody or release, obtain official booking records, post bond, or take action on a case. Please contact the public office that holds the information you need.

Official Lake County Contacts

Choose the office by the question, because custody, a Sheriff-held record, and a court disposition are not the same record. Lake County did not identify a public online jail roster or booking feed, so do not rely on a purported live listing to settle a local custody question.

Sheriff and Jail Information

Lake County Sheriff’s Office
Room 213, main floor
Lake County Courthouse
513 Center St
Lakeview, OR 97630
Main phone: (541) 947-6027
Jail information: jsmyth@co.lake.or.us
General information: heversole@co.lake.or.us

The Sheriff is the appropriate contact for a possible local jail custody question and for a focused request for a Sheriff-held booking, custody, release, or incident record. No Sheriff office or records hours were published in the research, so confirm availability directly before visiting. The Lake County records guide explains the documented request path.

Court Case Status and Copies

Lake County Circuit Court
Lake County Courthouse
513 Center St
Lakeview, OR 97630
Phone: (541) 947-6051
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding legal holidays

Contact the court for a filing, hearing, judgment, disposition, or nonconfidential record copy. A court record answers what happened in a case after booking, while the Sheriff holds the local jail and law-enforcement record.

Oregon DOC and Other Custody Systems

The Oregon DOC Offender Search applies to the sentenced state-prison or DOC-supervision population, not every Lake County booking. For an official Oregon DOC record request, use the DOC Public Records Center. Federal Bureau of Prisons and ICE custody, when relevant, are separate systems with their own official locators.

Where to Look First

Start with the record custodian instead of a commercial listing or a same-named Lake County in another state.

  • For a recent local arrest, present local custody, or a Sheriff-held record, use the Sheriff contact above and provide identifying details and an approximate date.
  • For a filed case, a hearing, a final outcome, or a court copy, contact Lake County Circuit Court or use its official record-access process.
  • For state-prison custody or a DOC record, use Oregon DOC’s official offender search or records center after confirming that the person belongs in that system.
  • For a federal or immigration detention question, use the relevant federal locator, not the County Sheriff or Oregon DOC path.
